Winnie the Pooh has been an inspiration of mine for years. The softness of the watercolour and the thick to thin ink lines allow for a story to be told without the visuals being too overwhelming. It feels like a warm hug to look at.

I drew this piece as an homage to the original books.

This is Pooh Bear’s house drawn in the original style with ink fineliners. Many tiny and large lines make up this nostalgic doorway that I think most everyone would want to enter.

This piece is on 8.5 x 6.5 watercolour paper and would do well to greet anyone as they walked through the door.
