There’s always a charm about towns by the sea. I did my best to capture the colourful houses, tiny shops and energy of that in my most time consuming cloche yet!
This cloche is not made up of a distinctive number of layers but instead is a sculptural piece with something new to look at with every turn. Twirls of mountain layers are home to the teeniest houses in varying colours. A rowboat, an icecream shop, a tiny bicycle on the boardwalk path, even a sparkly wave greeting the sand. This seaside town has everything encapsulated in a 3 x 2.25 inch cloche.
For transparency sake, I would like to make sure you note the tiny bubble in the plastic lid of the cloche. You can see it clearly in the second to last photo. Unfortunately this is not something I can buff out as it is in between the plastic layers.
To get a closer look at all the tiny details, the lid of the cloche is removeable! Simply push the lid down gently and turn counter-clockwise. To put it back on, push down gently and turn clockwise.
This cloche is 3 inches tall and approx. 2.25 inches wide. The piece itself is attached to the base of the cloche but it’s measurements not including that are approximately 1.5 x 1.5 inches.
Please note: I will clean and buff the cloche before sending it off to it’s new home but minor imperfections in the plastic may still be present. Any imperfections that are noteworthy or that will block the view of the art in any way have been stated in the listing according to each cloche.
