The Great Gatsby is rich with symbolism (or so my English teacher told me) and being a frog version has made little difference.

This is a painting of Jay Gatsby (frog version) greeting the guests at his party. He is surrounded by some main elements of his character. A golden perception of wealth, the green lantern of longing for what isn't there, the house where everything happens and daisies for Daisy herself (at least as Gatsby sees her)

This piece is made with ink fineliner pens and watercolour on 8x10 inch 140 lb watercolour paper. It also features touches of gold shimmery ink.
