This is a print of an original oil painting inspired by Little Women. The painting depicts Jo and Laurie as they stand over the beautiful autumnal forest and consider their choices. Those in the past, those they make now and those that they will have to make later based on the former two.

The title of the painting is part of a quote from Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, “I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship."
